What is CKM:
This refers to various conditions that damage the kidneys’ ability to filter waste and excess fluid from the blood. It also lead to high blood glucose level usually type 2 diabetes ,also lead to obesity and many other health problems. People often have more than one of these diseases at a time.
Risk factors:
● Obesity
● High cholesterol
● Blood sugar
● Kidney diseases
● Diabetes
These are some common risk factors of CKM. A family history of diabetes and heart disease can also increase risk of CKM. Chronic inflammatory conditions can also contribute to CKM progression.
Sadiya S. Khan, M.D., M.Sc., FAHA, American Heart Association volunteer and Magerstadt professor of cardiovascular epidemiology:
“Heart is the leading cause of death among women. Most women are still not aware of their risks of these heart diseases”. Chest pain is the most common symptom of heart diseases. blood pressure is 120/80 , HDL is above 50mg/dl and urine test for protein is under 30mg/g these are appropriate factors. Also fasting blood glucose should be 70-90mg/dl and AIC ( long term blood sugar control ) should be below 5.7%.
Diet plan : Limit saturated and trans fats in your diet, focus on nutritious food , reduce intake of red meat , full dairy products , avoid sugary drinks because it can contribute to weight gain and heart problems and consume oily fish because it consists of omega 3 which prevent heart diseases.

Many people who have high blood pressure or diabetes, which increases the risk for kidney disease, are unaware of their kidney health due to lack of screening. Urine test or blood filtration test for kidney is use to detect CKM. Pregnancy and menopause can cause lead to CKM . Pregnancy complications such as preeclampsia , gestational diabetes and hypertension are future risks for kidney diseases , diabetes and heart disease according to a research.
onclusion: Proper screening and through good diet we can prevent heart disease. A diet full of nutritional food and vegetables can protect us from future disease’s. Also if you have any kind of symptoms like low blood pressure, hypertension, pain in back , shortness of breath , swelling in neck , dry skin and changes in urine frequency concern to your nearby doctor . “Your health should be your first priority because The first wealth is health” The end.
