XDA is seeking an experienced and passionate Gaming Writer to join its editorial team. If you love everything about gaming from AAA blockbusters to indie gems and retro classics , this role is for you. As a Senior Gaming Writer, you will create engaging content that covers the latest gaming news, releases, features, and editorials in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Write reliable and consistent content (news, features, reviews, and editorials) under tight deadlines.
• Use the in-house CMS to upload and format articles, including images.
• Stay updated with the latest gaming and tech industry developments.
• Collaborate with the editorial team for assignments, feedback, and brainstorming ideas.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2+ years of professional writing or editorial experience (gaming or tech industry preferred).
  • Portfolio of published gaming content (mandatory).

• Skills & Knowledge:
  • Strong command of the English language with excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to think critically, analyze gaming trends, and present unique perspectives.
  • Expert knowledge of gaming history, culture, and current industry trends.
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently under deadlines.
