Job Summary:
Mentor A Promise (MAP) is seeking a passionate Content Writer (Volunteer) to craft engaging, inspiring, and mission-driven content for our website, mobile app, and digital campaigns. This role focuses on storytelling that communicates MAP’s initiatives, supports children and youth experiencing housing instability, and enhances user engagement across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, edit, and proofread web pages, blogs, and app content
• Maintain consistent brand tone, style, and messaging
• Collaborate with design and development teams to align content with user experience
• Implement SEO best practices to improve visibility and engagement
• Update and optimize content based on analytics and user feedback
• Support newsletters, digital campaigns, and educational materials
• Respond to emails within 48 hours and contribute to continuous content improvement

Qualifications:

• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
• Experience creating content for websites, apps, or digital campaigns
• Knowledge of SEO and analytics-driven writing
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field preferred

Commitment:

• Minimum 6-month volunteer engagement
• Remote-first role, flexible hours: approximately 5–10 hours per week
