What You’ll Do

As our Transportation Operations Manager, you will lead the end-to-end transportation strategy across the Jiffy network, focusing on fulfillment and last-mile delivery. You’ll manage carrier relationships, negotiate contracts, optimize costs, and drive operational excellence to improve delivery speed and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee inbound (middle-mile) and outbound (last-mile) transportation operations.
• Develop and execute carrier strategies, negotiate contracts, and reduce transportation costs.
• Manage partnerships with parcel carriers and on-demand delivery providers to meet SLA and performance goals.
• Monitor KPIs related to delivery speed, cost efficiency, and service quality.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to guide technology solutions for transportation operations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to scale and streamline fulfillment processes.
• Partner with Finance and Operations teams to forecast and optimize transportation expenses.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 6+ years of progressive experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Proven expertise managing carrier contracts and balancing cost/performance in parcel and/or on-demand delivery networks.
• Strong understanding of middle-mile, last-mile, and fulfillment operations—ideally within e-commerce or retail.
• Experience working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and technology integrations with carriers.
• Data-driven with strong analytical skills to define and track KPIs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex operational challenges.
