What You’ll Do

As a Team Lead Node.js, you'll play a key leadership role in shaping the technical direction and success of the product. This is more than a coding job—you'll mentor, architect, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a world-class platform.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of backend and frontend developers
• Design and develop scalable product architecture
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance
• Develop systems for secure uploading and integration of large-scale corporate data
• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, Engineering, and Sales teams to align development goals
• Maintain a hands-on role in backend (Node.js) and frontend (React) development
• Define and evolve engineering best practices within the company
• Monitor system stability and performance (memory, CPU, and database optimization)

Must-Have Requirements

10+ years in IT/software development
2+ years as a Team Lead or Technical Manager (leading teams of 5+)
Strong expertise in Node.js, Meteor, MongoDB
Experience with React on the frontend
Proven ability to build and scale high-load systems
Deep understanding of distributed systems and performance tuning
Experience with system monitoring and query optimization
Familiarity with remote team collaboration
English proficiency (B2 level or higher)

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience integrating large volumes of corporate data
DevOps or Infrastructure experience
Background in low-level programming (e.g., C) prior to Node.js
Experience working with data-heavy systems (gigabytes to terabytes)

Education & Experience

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred)

Professional Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of software development experience
• At least 2 years in a leadership role managing developers
• Proven success in designing scalable, secure systems for enterprise use
