Overview:
HonorHealth is seeking a Supervisor for our Virtual Medical Assistant team in the Customer Navigation Center (CNC). This role is essential in supporting our Primary Care and Clinical Innovation departments, including Telemedicine, drop-in clinics, and medication prior authorizations. The Supervisor will lead daily and weekly operations, oversee team performance, ensure compliance, and provide guidance on escalations, while delivering exceptional patient experiences in alignment with HonorHealth’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage Virtual Medical Assistant staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
  • Monitor daily operations and team performance, identifying opportunities for process improvement and additional training.
  • Handle and escalate customer service complaints, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Coordinate care and referrals within the HonorHealth network, supporting patient appointments and follow-ups.
  • Assist with departmental planning, reporting, budgets, and process implementation.
  • Support innovation initiatives to enhance patient access and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient system operation and quality care delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet departmental goals.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree preferred; minimum of Associate’s Degree or 2 years of related experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience supervising or leading in a call center, customer service, or healthcare environment required.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a healthcare or customer service setting preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and mentor a diverse team effectively.
