Role Overview
As a Software Engineer II, you will:
- Build, deploy, and maintain robust microservices for medium-to-high complexity features.
- Support the integrity and management of human and non-human identities, including AI agents, service accounts, and bots.
- Collaborate in an Agile environment on code reviews, testing, deployment, and customer issue resolution.
- Mentor junior engineers and help drive technical excellence across the team.
This role combines hands-on software engineering, problem-solving, and collaboration, making it ideal for someone who wants to grow their career in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement efficient, maintainable, scalable microservices.
- Participate in CI/CD processes and maintain “We built it, we maintain it” culture.
- Develop dashboards, alerts, and logging for proactive monitoring.
- Provide on-call support and collaborate with TechOps.
- Contribute to feature roadmap and bug support for ISC products.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers on technical solutions.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years in professional software development with increasing responsibilities.
- Technical Skills:
- 2+ years in Java and Spring Boot for server-side, object-oriented programming
- 2+ years in SaaS production support using AWS
- 1+ year in event-driven architecture
- Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL, Kafka, Redis, EKS
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and CI/CD pipelines
- Preferred: Go programming, Prometheus/Grafana, Snowflake, Flink
What Success Looks Like
- 30 Days: Onboard, understand ISC product, set up dev environment, and begin contributing.
- 60 Days: Provide on-call support, participate in code reviews, and learn CI/CD processes.
- 90 Days: Build features, support human and non-human identity solutions, collaborate with peers.
- 6 Months: Independently deliver low-complexity designs, collaborate with Product Management, and contribute to roadmap development.

National Channel Sales Manager
A: The base salary for this position ranges from $91,000 to $130,000 per year in the U.S., depending on experience, skills, and location. Some candidates may also be eligible for bonuses or equity participation.
