Description
BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Senior Member Engagement Specialist to join their team in enhancing the experience and loyalty of their most engaged member segments. This role blends data-driven strategy with hands-on campaign execution, focusing on lifecycle marketing, cross-functional collaboration, and innovative engagement tactics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute targeted engagement strategies, including co-brand credit card campaigns in collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Analyze member behavior, sales data, and performance metrics to identify growth opportunities for high-value or at-risk segments.
- Create campaign briefs, forecast budgets, coordinate with channel partners, and execute personalized, multi-channel marketing campaigns (print, email, push notifications, and website).
- Drive new club offer strategies, supporting digital engagement and Grand Opening initiatives.
- Implement loyalty and engagement tactics like gamification, rewards optimization, and behavior-based messaging.
- Support lifecycle marketing initiatives, including onboarding, reactivation, and win-back campaigns to maximize member lifetime value.
- Partner with cross-functional teams Creative, Marketing, Data Science, Finance, Field Operations, and Product to ensure alignment and effective execution.
- Track project performance, timelines, and deliverables, providing continuous improvement recommendations.
Qualifications:
- 4–6 years of experience in loyalty marketing, customer engagement, or campaign execution, preferably in retail, financial services, or subscription-based industries.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret behavioral data and marketing metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with digital marketing platforms and lifecycle campaign management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across teams effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with customer loyalty programs, engagement strategies, and data-driven campaign execution is preferred.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 4–6 years of relevant professional experience in customer engagement, loyalty programs, or marketing campaign management.
- Proven ability to analyze customer data and deliver actionable insights to improve engagement and retention.
