About the Role

CVS Health, a leader in health solutions, is looking for a Senior Manager of Medicaid Network Management to support and grow our Medicaid provider network in Maryland. In this strategic role, you’ll negotiate high-value contracts, analyze network gaps, ensure compliance, and work closely with providers to enhance access and quality of care.

This role is ideal for someone with deep knowledge of Medicaid networks, exceptional negotiation skills, and a passion for improving healthcare access.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex contract negotiations with provider groups and health systems.
• Analyze the market to identify network expansion opportunities and address service gaps.
• Ensure regulatory and contractual compliance, particularly with Medicaid programs.
• Manage re-contracting processes and support credentialing and approval workflows.
• Represent CVS Health in internal and external meetings and provider discussions.
• Collaborate across departments to align network strategies with business goals.
• Coach and mentor junior network managers and contracting staff.
• Provide insight to leadership on strategy, risks, and market opportunities.

Education & Experience

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree (preferred), or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience Required:
• Minimum 7+ years of healthcare network management or provider contracting experience.
• Proven expertise in Medicaid, preferably Maryland’s Medicaid program.
• Deep knowledge of provider reimbursement, contract strategies, and healthcare regulations.
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Must reside in Maryland (preferred) or nearby DMV area.
