What You’ll Do

As a Senior ML Engineer focused on recommendation systems, you will:

• Build, deploy, and optimize machine learning models serving 100M+ predictions daily to personalize user experiences
• Design ranking algorithms balancing relevance, diversity, and revenue goals
• Enhance data pipelines using Spark, Beam, Dask for efficiency and reliability
• Lead experimentation efforts with statistically rigorous A/B testing
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to launch impactful personalization features
• Maintain ownership of deployed models, ensuring reliability and continuous improvements

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience building and scaling production ML systems with measurable business impact
• Strong expertise in ranking algorithms (collaborative filtering, learning-to-rank, deep learning)
• Proficiency with Python and ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Skilled in SQL and data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift), plus data lakes
• Experience with distributed computing tools (Spark, Ray) and LLM/AI agent frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to improve business KPIs through ML-powered personalization
• Familiarity with A/B testing platforms and best practices for experiment logging

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field
• Proven track record in deploying large-scale ML systems in production environments
• Experience working in fast-paced, data-centric companies or startups
