Job Description:
Vaco by Highspring is seeking a highly skilled Senior Fullstack JavaScript Developer to join our innovative, fast-paced team. This remote contract role is ideal for developers with strong expertise in React, Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL, with exposure to AWS, Docker, and NestJS. You’ll design and maintain scalable applications, implement backend APIs, and collaborate across global teams using modern development workflows.

The ideal candidate thrives in enterprise environments, embraces Vibe Coding principles, and leverages AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity. This role requires a hands-on approach to fullstack development, problem-solving, and delivering clean, maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain fullstack web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Develop and optimize backend APIs using NestJS or Node.js.
• Ensure scalable and reliable data modeling with PostgreSQL.
• Deploy and scale cloud-native applications using Docker and AWS.
• Apply Vibe Coding principles and collaborate with distributed teams asynchronously.
• Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and design discussions.
• Explore GoLang for high-performance enhancements where applicable.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of fullstack development experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong production experience with React and Node.js.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and database management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, agile practices, and modern dev workflows.
• Comfortable with cross-functional collaboration and asynchronous communication.
• Experience with Docker, AWS, and cloud-based deployments.
• Exposure to AI-powered development tools is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with NestJS for building scalable server-side applications.
• Familiarity with GoLang for performance-critical backend services.
