Description
Sanford Health, one of the largest and fastest-growing not-for-profit health systems in the United States, is seeking a dedicated Provider Enrollment Representative. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and timely enrollment of new providers and facilities with payors, as well as maintaining ongoing provider and facility data. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely enrollment of new providers and facility sites with payors.
- Maintain accurate provider information in internal and external billing software.
- Gather and manage necessary documentation such as W-9s, CLIA certificates, bank/IRS letters, and CMS letters.
- Apply for and manage National Provider Identifiers (NPIs) for individual practitioners and facilities.
- Notify payors and internal departments about provider practice changes, terminations, or site updates.
- Address enrollment-related denials and resolve issues in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Review and manage claims pending reports and claim edit work queues in Epic.
- Keep up-to-date with managed care and payor enrollment requirements.
- Initiate enrollment for electronic claims submissions and contribute to site-planning meetings.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in billing, provider credentialing, or enrollment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
