You will take the lead in complex structural engineering assignments, applying your expertise to design, analysis, and project management. This position requires strong technical skills, leadership, and experience working with CAD, BIM, and structural analysis software.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and oversee the creation of engineering deliverables including calculations, drawings, procurement documents, technical reports, and analyses that meet customer quality standards.
• Define project scopes, prepare budgets and schedules, and plan work to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide technical direction and guidance to CAD designers, drafters, and junior engineers.
• Design and oversee structural work for new construction and rehabilitation of rail and transit facilities.
• Use industry-standard structural design software and 3D modeling tools like Revit.
• Collaborate closely with project teams and travel to client or construction sites as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of structural engineering experience, with a strong focus on rail and transit infrastructure.
• Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Experience working with New York/New Jersey rail agencies (MTA, PANYNJ, NJ Transit) is highly desirable.
• Proficient with 3D modeling software (Revit) and structural analysis tools.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
