Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care to pets in a compassionate and professional manner.
- Support families emotionally and educate them about end-of-life care options.
- Maintain accurate medical records and follow company protocols.
- Collaborate with support staff and fellow veterinarians for consistent, high-quality care.
- Uphold the highest standards of animal welfare and client communication.
Education & Experience
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) from an accredited institution.
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the United States.
- Experience in small animal care or hospice/end-of-life care is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support pet families during sensitive times.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation for in-home visits.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to animal care.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to undergo background and motor vehicle record checks.
