About the Role

Vercept is seeking a part-time UX Designer & Frontend Developer to shape the user experience of our AI-driven platforms. You’ll work directly with engineers, researchers, and end-users to translate complex AI functionalities into intuitive and engaging interfaces. Beyond designing, you’ll implement your designs using modern frontend technologies, ensuring performance, responsiveness, and polished results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and prototype user interfaces using Figma and other design tools.
  • Implement frontend interfaces using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Conduct and synthesize user research to guide design decisions.
  • Explore innovative interaction patterns, especially for AI-based features.
  • Iterate quickly on designs and implementations based on feedback.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
  • Strong UX and visual design skills.
  • Experience with design systems, prototyping, and Figma.
  • Ability to translate research insights into actionable design solutions.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in a cross-functional environment.

Education & Experience

  • Degree or background in UX/UI Design, Computer Science, or related fields is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with AI-driven products or frontend development is advantageous.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Estimated yearly salary: $100K – $200K.
  • Part-time role, approximately 20–25 hours per week, with flexible schedule.
