About the Role
Vercept is seeking a part-time UX Designer & Frontend Developer to shape the user experience of our AI-driven platforms. You’ll work directly with engineers, researchers, and end-users to translate complex AI functionalities into intuitive and engaging interfaces. Beyond designing, you’ll implement your designs using modern frontend technologies, ensuring performance, responsiveness, and polished results.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and prototype user interfaces using Figma and other design tools.
- Implement frontend interfaces using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Conduct and synthesize user research to guide design decisions.
- Explore innovative interaction patterns, especially for AI-based features.
- Iterate quickly on designs and implementations based on feedback.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Strong UX and visual design skills.
- Experience with design systems, prototyping, and Figma.
- Ability to translate research insights into actionable design solutions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in a cross-functional environment.
Education & Experience
- Degree or background in UX/UI Design, Computer Science, or related fields is preferred.
- Previous experience working with AI-driven products or frontend development is advantageous.
Compensation & Schedule
- Estimated yearly salary: $100K – $200K.
- Part-time role, approximately 20–25 hours per week, with flexible schedule.
