Become a key part of Humana’s team as a Medicare Inbound Contacts Representative. You’ll handle inbound calls, emails, and messages from providers, helping answer complex benefit questions, resolving issues, and educating healthcare providers in a fast-paced environment. This is a fully remote role offering virtual training and consistent work schedules.

What You’ll Do

  • Handle 25+ inbound calls daily from providers regarding members and claims.
  • Document inquiries, transactions, and interactions accurately, escalating unresolved issues as needed.
  • Work within established policies but with some discretion in prioritizing tasks.
  • Provide high-quality customer service and problem resolution in a busy call center environment.
  • Participate in mandatory virtual training (8 weeks, 8 AM – 5 PM ET, Monday to Friday).
  • Commit to at least 12 months in this role to ensure proficiency and growth.

Education & Experience

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in inbound call centers or healthcare.
  • Strong typing, computer navigation, and multitasking skills required.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities using multiple software applications.
  • Effective verbal and listening communication skills essential.
  • Experience working in healthcare or Medicare environment is a plus.

Training & Work Schedule

  • Virtual training starts December 1, 2025 (8 weeks, 8 AM to 5 PM ET, Monday-Friday).
  • After training, work 8-hour shifts between 8 AM and 6 PM ET. Shift timing will be assigned based on business needs.
  • Must maintain perfect attendance during training and appraisal periods.
  • Occasional overtime may be required.

Tech & Work-from-Home Requirements

  • Reliable internet connection with minimum 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
  • Dedicated, quiet workspace free from interruptions to protect sensitive information.
  • Computer equipment provided by Humana as needed.
  • Ability to take language proficiency tests if communicating in languages other than English.
