About the Role

As a Medicare Bid Optimization Principal Divisional Strategy Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting Medicare Advantage (MA) bid goals and strategy by driving data-driven decision making, planning, and bid optimization.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Actuary, Product, Sales, Finance, and Marketing, to align divisional strategies and business plans. Your expertise will be crucial in analyzing competitive market data, managing projects, and supporting long-term Medicare Advantage planning to ensure business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Medicare Advantage short-term and multi-year planning efforts aligned with business goals.
- Provide strategic analytics and insights to influence divisional decision making and bid optimization.
- Collaborate with divisional leadership and matrix partners to ensure strategy alignment.
- Analyze competitive market information and integrate findings into divisional plans.
- Manage projects and prioritize initiatives supporting Medicare Advantage bids.
- Present findings and recommendations to corporate leadership.
- Maintain strong cross-departmental relationships in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Education & Experience Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care, Finance, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, or strategic consulting; OR
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of strategic planning, business development, or financial management consulting experience; OR
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in the healthcare industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree such as MBA, MHA, or Juris Doctor.
- Experience with Medicare Advantage bid submissions and strategy.
- Proficiency in Teradata, SQL, and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Python and Tableau for data analysis and visualization.

- Excellent verbal and written communication, including presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving and program management expertise.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
