About the Role
3P CAREERS, in partnership with GamesBeat, is hiring a talented and data-driven Social Media Manager to lead the brand’s digital storytelling and engagement across major platforms. This is a part-time, fully remote role ideal for someone who loves gaming, technology, and creative content strategy. You’ll drive growth, manage communities, and create impactful campaigns that connect industry professionals, sponsors, and audiences across the gaming and tech ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a cohesive social media strategy across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and Threads. Manage the full content calendar—planning, publishing, and optimizing posts for maximum engagement. Write platform-specific copy that captures the voice of GamesBeat and supports upcoming events, sponsorships, and editorial campaigns. Collaborate with designers to produce engaging visuals, short videos, and interactive stories. Execute and manage paid social campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, and performance tracking. Build and nurture a strong online community by engaging with followers, partners, and influencers. Track and analyze KPIs such as engagement, reach, referral traffic, and conversions to continuously optimize content performance. Partner with editorial, marketing, and event teams to amplify stories and drive attendance at GamesBeat events and memberships.
Skills and Experience
3–5 years of hands-on experience managing social media for brands or media outlets, ideally in gaming, tech, or B2B environments. Proven record of success creating and executing high-performing organic and paid social campaigns. Deep knowledge of LinkedIn and X for professional communication and engagement, along with strong familiarity with Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms. Proficient in using social management tools like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite. Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone for each platform. Experience running ad campaigns and analyzing performance data using Google Analytics and platform insights. Organized, creative, and capable of managing multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in event marketing, community management, or partnership promotion. Background in managing sponsored or branded content. Basic graphic design or video editing skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred but not mandatory.
