Now, we’re looking for a Head of Amazon a strategic leader with proven Amazon expertise and a passion for scaling e-commerce operations.

About the Role

As the Head of Amazon, you’ll take full ownership of our Amazon strategy, operations, and growth. You’ll lead a talented team, drive market expansion, and ensure the business unit operates with high performance and profitability.

This is a senior leadership position perfect for someone who combines data-driven thinking, strategic leadership, and a deep understanding of Amazon ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a long-term strategic roadmap for Amazon operations.
  • Drive market leadership and maintain a competitive edge within the Amazon ecosystem.
  • Take P&L ownership for the Amazon business unit, ensuring sustainable growth.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary Amazon team.
  • Optimize team structure, workflows, and performance culture.
  • Oversee Amazon SEO, listings, and content optimization.
  • Manage and scale Amazon Advertising campaigns (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display).
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics (ACoS, conversion rate, BSR, CTR).
  • Plan new product launches, promotions, and assortment expansion.
  • Develop pricing and positioning strategies.
  • Stay current with Amazon trends, policies, and best practices.
  • Encourage innovation and experimentation to enhance channel growth.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-Commerce, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Professional Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Head of Amazon, Marketplace Manager, or E-Commerce Channel Lead.
  • At least 2 years of team leadership experience managing cross-functional Amazon or e-commerce teams.
  • Proven record of scaling Amazon sales and driving revenue growth.
  • Deep knowledge of Seller Central, Brand Registry, and Amazon FBA/FBM models.
  • Expertise in Amazon Advertising (Sponsored Ads, Display, DSP).
  • Experience with analytics tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, DataHawk, etc.).
  • Strong analytical mindset with solid understanding of e-commerce KPIs and profit metrics.

Bonus Points:

  • Fluency in German and English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Experience working with European or global Amazon marketplaces.
