Job Overview
As a Freelance Earth Science Expert, you will play a vital role in training, refining, and improving AI models to better understand and generate accurate responses in the Earth Science domain. This role involves creating high-quality educational content, auditing work by peers, and supporting a global community of professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Development: Create, review, and refine Earth Science-related materials ensuring clarity, precision, and relevance.
- Quality Auditing: Evaluate and edit tasks completed by other contributors, maintaining alignment with project standards and guidelines.
- Chat Moderation: Engage in community discussions, providing guidance to experts and helping clarify complex project requirements.
- Collaboration: Work with AI teams to develop datasets and examples that enhance model understanding and reasoning capabilities.
Requirements
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Earth Science, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Earth Science or academic research.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher).
- Experience with Python and familiarity with Generative AI or Prompt Engineering.
- Background in Teaching, Training, or Research is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly to changing project needs.
