About the Role

As a Freelance Chemistry AI Trainer, you’ll work remotely on projects that challenge AI systems to learn and improve. You’ll create prompts, evaluate AI answers, and refine model responses to ensure they meet expert-level standards.

This is a flexible, fully remote freelance role that allows you to work on your own schedule while applying your Chemistry expertise in a unique, innovative way.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality prompts and scenarios to challenge AI models in Chemistry.
• Define scoring and evaluation criteria for AI-generated responses.
• Review and correct AI answers to ensure scientific accuracy and clarity.
• Collaborate with Mindrift’s project team to provide structured feedback and improvements.
• Stay up to date on chemistry research and best practices to maintain content relevance

Education & Experience Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field required.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Chemistry or a specialized subfield (Analytical, Organic, Inorganic, Physical, or General Chemistry) preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of professional or academic experience in Chemistry or related disciplines.
• Familiarity with scientific writing, problem solving, and analytical reasoning.
• Prior experience in teaching, research, or industry work is a plus.
• Advanced level of English (C1 or higher) required.
