Role Overview
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Escrow Assistant to support our dynamic Escrow team. In this fast-paced role, you will assist with customer support, administrative tasks, and contribute to the smooth closing of real estate transactions. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain client communication regarding approved documents, updates, and inquiries throughout projects.
- Review purchase agreements and perform quality checks to help facilitate the closing process.
- Facilitate title searches, verify results, and conduct research to resolve title issues.
- Calculate title policy premiums using state-specific rate manuals.
- Produce and distribute title insurance policies per client agreements.
- Assist with post-closing activities such as document packaging, mailing, and policy review.
- Perform routine administrative tasks including proofreading, data gathering, document preparation, and order intake.
- Respond to customer requests and internal inquiries professionally and promptly.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong passion for customer service with a professional, positive attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented problem solver with strong organizational abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new software tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior escrow-related experience preferred but not required.
Education
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Additional certifications or coursework related to real estate, title insurance, or escrow services are a plus.
Experience
- Experience in escrow, title insurance, or real estate administrative support is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with closing processes, document preparation, and customer service in a real estate context.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
