About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and safety-driven Electrician (Field Technician II) to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment across facilities in the region. The ideal candidate is hands-on, experienced with electrical codes and tools, and able to travel regularly.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, power equipment, and components according to electrical codes and blueprints.
• Diagnose and resolve problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment using testing tools.
• Install and repair control and distribution apparatus including motors, switches, relays, thermostats, and circuit breakers.
• Connect power supply wiring, cables, and conduit for new and existing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of materials, time, and labor.
• Respond to emergency calls and perform field repairs.
• Follow strict safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions immediately.
• Use hand and power tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, pipe benders, and other standard electrical equipment.
• Travel frequently to job sites and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Education & Experience

• Education:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Technical school or Associate’s Degree in Electrical Technology or a related field preferred
• Certifications:
• Valid Journeyman Electrician License (Required)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience:
• Minimum 2+ years of electrical experience required
• 5 years of field experience preferred
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams

Required Skills

• Knowledge of electrical circuits, generators, and local electrical codes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and reference materials
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency with ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools
• Comfortable with heavy lifting, climbing, kneeling, and physical labor
• Able to work in extreme temperatures and challenging conditions

Tools & Equipment Used

• Multimeter, ohmmeter, oscilloscope
• Pipe bender, threader, soldering iron
• Hand and power tools (saws, drills, trenchers, etc.)
• Light truck or van for transport
