Location: 🇺🇸 United States
Canva is looking for a seasoned Director, Revenue Operations to lead Deal Desk, Sales Provisioning, and Sales Compensation while designing scalable processes that empower the Sales team to move fast with strong financial discipline. This role is strategic yet hands-on, combining operational leadership with technology-driven efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop Deal Desk, Sales Provisioning, and Sales Compensation teams, fostering collaboration, ownership, and a customer-focused mindset.
- Define pricing and discount guardrails, approval matrices, and exception frameworks, partnering with Legal, Sales, and Accounting to standardize terms and playbooks.
- Manage entitlements and timely activation, ensuring clean handoffs to Billing, Support, and Revenue Accounting.
- Partner with Sales Ops to design and govern compensation structures, including plans, quotas, SPIFFs, and exceptions, ensuring accurate and timely payouts.
- Enhance Salesforce, CPQ, provisioning, and compensation tools (e.g., Spiff, Xactly), improve documentation, and implement controls to support SOX compliance and IPO readiness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or finance leadership, preferably within high-growth SaaS or enterprise organizations.
- Expertise in Salesforce, CPQ, entitlement/provisioning tools, and incentive compensation platforms (CaptivateIQ, Spiff, Xactly).
- Strong analytical and modeling skills with the ability to build business cases and assess ROI.
- Proven experience scaling processes, implementing automation, and maintaining strong governance and controls.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, able to align Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations on simple, scalable solutions.
