Role Overview
As the Director of FP&A, you will lead a team responsible for financial forecasting, planning, and performance measurement. You’ll drive profitability initiatives, enhance financial modeling capabilities, and support key organizational strategies by providing in-depth business analysis. Reporting to the VP of FP&A, you will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and senior leaders to influence decision-making across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct economic research including rates of return, depreciation, and investment analysis
- Analyze profit & loss statements and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to management
- Develop financial forecasts and trend analyses across sales, finance, and operations
- Build sophisticated financial models to evaluate “what-if” scenarios for new business strategies
- Manage and mentor a team of managers and senior managers within FP&A
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and long-term resource allocation
- Oversee budgets and schedules ensuring alignment with corporate goals
- Lead initiatives to improve FP&A processes and tools across the organization
What We’re Looking For
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (required)
- MBA strongly preferred
- Professional certifications (CPA, CFA, CMA) are a plus
Experience
- 5+ years in accounting, financial analysis, or pricing/revenue management roles
- Experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or top-tier consulting preferred
- Proven leadership experience managing teams supporting multi-site operations across the U.S.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint advanced users)
- Familiarity with BI and financial tools like Qlik, Tableau, Oracle FCCS/PBCS preferred
- Track record of process development and operational improvements
