About the Role
Join GDIT (General Dynamics Information Technology) and be part of a global technology leader delivering mission-critical IT and cybersecurity solutions to U.S. federal agencies. We are seeking a Cyber Program Maturity Analyst Sr Principal to support the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in strengthening its cybersecurity and privacy posture. This remote position focuses on process optimization, risk management, and ensuring strategic alignment with federal security standards.
What You’ll Do
- Strengthen the EPA’s Information Security and Privacy Posture by streamlining cybersecurity workflows to increase efficiency and compliance.
- Improve privacy compliance reviews for PTAs, PIAs, SORNs, and PARS, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Enhance OISP Operations through better planning, resource management, and project execution aligned with strategic cybersecurity objectives.
- Lead risk identification and mitigation efforts, ensuring critical cybersecurity initiatives remain on track.
- Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders, ensuring project transparency and satisfaction.
- Drive the on-time, within-budget completion of cybersecurity projects, adhering to established performance goals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Information Security, Cyber Risk, or Privacy Management.
- Demonstrated success in process improvement and operational optimization.
- Prior experience supporting federal government or civilian agencies.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to simplify complex technical topics for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with proven delivery capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
- PMP or PgMP certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of federal cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP).

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Technology (Master’s preferred).
Experience:
8+ years in Information Security and Privacy roles with a focus on cybersecurity maturity and compliance.
