About the Role

Are you more than just a videographer? Do you think like a content strategist, write like a copywriter, and study YouTube growth like a science?

If so, we’re looking for you to become the Content Director for the personal brand of Richard Yu an 8-figure entrepreneur, Christian creator, and founder of Impact Clients.

Your Mission

Your primary mission:
Grow Richard Yu’s YouTube channel from ~150K → 1M+ subscribers within the next 12–18 months. You’ll also turn his life, story, and values into a media machine that fuels a suite of 7–9 figure businesses and inspires millions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead content strategy across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and more
  • Own the YouTube growth roadmap: scripting, retention, titles, thumbnails
  • Plan and shoot vlog/documentary-style content (in-person preferred)
  • Coach Richard during shoots for delivery, hook optimization, and flow
  • Write high-converting hooks, titles, and outlines based on data not gut feelings
  • Build and lead a media team of editors, videographers, and content creators
  • Manage content production systems from idea execution publication
  • Collaborate closely with business, marketing, and coaching program teams
  • Turn the brand into a scalable content engine that drives traffic, leads, and sales

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Film, Marketing, Communications, or similar (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in video production, content strategy, or social media marketing
  • Proven track record growing a YouTube channel or brand (personal or client-based)
  • Familiar with platforms like YouTube Studio, Final Cut, Premiere, Notion, and Slack
  • Experience working in startup environments or fast-paced media teams is a plus

What Success Looks Like

  • YouTube channel hits 1M+ subscribers in 12–18 months
  • A repeatable, efficient content engine is in place (strategy, production, publishing)
  • Each video has a data-backed hook, title, and retention plan
  • Richard shows up, presses record, and the rest runs like clockwork under your leadership
  • A high-performing internal media team is built from the ground up
