About the Role
We are looking for a strategic, data-driven Email Marketing Strategist to manage email marketing campaigns for Shopify clients. This role requires both strategy and execution, including creating campaigns, automations, reporting, and client communication. You’ll thrive in a startup-style environment where flexibility, creativity, and initiative are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement email marketing strategies for Shopify clients.
- Plan and execute campaigns and automated flows (welcome, post-purchase, win-back sequences).
- Write engaging, on-brand copy that aligns with client goals and voice.
- Collaborate with designers to create and review marketing assets.
- Segment audiences, optimize deliverability, and improve engagement and conversions.
- Track and analyze campaign performance and present actionable insights.
- Communicate regularly with clients to align strategies and report results.
- Stay up-to-date with email marketing best practices, compliance, and platform updates.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in email marketing for eCommerce clients.
- Expertise with Klaviyo; familiarity with Mailchimp, Omnisend, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Strong understanding of segmentation, A/B testing, and lifecycle marketing.
- Experience managing email integrations within Shopify Admin.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts, deadlines, and campaigns independently.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience managing email marketing campaigns for eCommerce clients.
