The Role

As an Account Manager at Catalyst Partners, you will be the key relationship leader and growth driver for a portfolio of high-impact client accounts. This role combines hands-on operational management with strategic business development responsibilities ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, resource-conscious environment and enjoys managing multi-million-dollar revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of client accounts generating up to $6 million annually, focusing on client retention, satisfaction, and growth.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, managing onboarding, communication, and timely delivery of services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across finance, operations, marketing, and investments to align solutions with client goals.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with decision-makers, offering strategic guidance and insights.
  • Identify and pursue new business development opportunities, including pitching services and expanding existing accounts.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare performance reports, and present actionable insights to clients and leadership.
  • Operate with agility and resourcefulness in a lean, entrepreneurial setting balancing tactical execution with strategic planning.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 4–6+ years in account management, client success, or business development roles ideally within consulting, finance, startups, or growth-stage companies.
  • Proven track record managing accounts with $5–10 million in annual revenue, including forecasting and reporting.
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing, pitching, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication skills with experience managing senior and executive-level client relationships.
  • Strong analytical abilities, comfortable interpreting data to guide strategic decisions.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to thrive in fast-moving, resource constrained environments
