About the Role:
The Government of Pakistan has secured financing from the World Bank under KP-HCIP to enhance quality and accessibility in healthcare and elementary education. To support this, the Project Management Unit (PMU) is looking to hire an experienced Social Safeguard Specialist.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Anthropology, Sociology, Economics, Human Geography, or related fields.
- At least 7 years of experience in community engagement, planning, implementation and management of resettlement activities, and grievance redressal.
- Experience in community-driven development operations.
- Familiarity with donor-funded projects and World Bank safeguard policies (preferred).
- Public sector work experience.
- Written and spoken fluency in English and Urdu; knowledge of Pushto will be an advantage.
- Strong computer skills: proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
