Job Description

The Punjab Police is conducting a major recruitment drive for Constables and Lady Constables, as well as driver and traffic support roles. These are frontline, full-time positions responsible for maintaining law and order, public safety, crowd control, and community policing duties throughout Punjab, notably in Lahore.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas and enforce public safety measures.
• Control access and movement at public events and checkpoints.
• Respond to and assist in routine law enforcement tasks and public emergencies.
• Maintain discipline, security, and professional conduct in all interactions.
• Driver Constables are responsible for safe transport and operation of police vehicles.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Matriculation (Secondary School Certificate) with at least 50% marks.
• Age:
  • Constables & Traffic Assistants: 18–22 years
  • Lady Constables: 18–25 years

• Physical Standards:
  • Males: Minimum height 5′7″; chest 33″–34.5″ (expanded).
  • Females (Lady Constables): Minimum height 5′2″.
