China says we back Pakistan in every difficult condition after a ceasefire ended four days of fighting with India over a deadly attack in occupied kashmir. Chinese foreign minister Wang yi said : “ We welcome two countries handling differences through dialogue” as he met Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in Beijing.
History
Pakistan and China friendships started in 1950 when Pakistan immediately recognised China and became the first Muslim country to recognise People Republic of China.
Pakistan has been a steadfast ally to China, particularly during periods of international isolation. China supported Pakistan in many projects including energy products. China has provided Pakistan economic, technical and military assistance. Gawadar sea port acting as a key node for trade and energy corridors under CPEC.
endly relations: Chinese foreign minister Wang called Pakistan an “ironclad” friend and he vowed to deepen the “all-weather strategic cooperative partnership” between the two countries. China welcomes dialogue between India and Pakistan and saying it is good in long term interest of both counties and also for regional peace and stability.
Pakistani foreign Minister visited China at the invitation of Chinese foreign Minister amid regional tensions, state-owned Radio Pakistan reported.

In a press conference Ishaq dar told media:
China was a major trading partner of Pakistan and both countries enjoy this close relation with each other . He further said the meeting with Chinese leadership will include political, global and regional topics.
The visit comes after the tension between India and Pakistan ended where India blamed Pakistan for the Palgham attack and strikes in Punjab , Azad Kashmir and Rawalpindi killing civilians and on which Pakistan in return shoot down five indian jets.
Ishaq Dar was received at the airport by senior Chinese officials and Ambassador of Pakistan to China , khalil hasmi. Afghanistan’s interim Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi is also expected to be in Beijing and participate in the talks to discuss regional peace and security. This is Pakistan’s first official visit to China after the recent military clashes.
China also shows its concern about the Indus water treaty which ended between two countries ( India and Pakistan). In this visit discussions also covered strengthening regional cooperation. The two sides also discuss their work on CPEC ( China Pakistan Economic corridor) by enhancing cooperation in areas such as agriculture, industry , energy and more.
China is Pakistan’s largest arms supplier and Dar confirmed that Islamabad used Chinese jets against India .
