Researchers at university of buffalo develop a system through which neurodevelopmental disorders can be identify through hand writing.
Dyslexia :
It’s a learning difficulty that primarily effects reading and spelling . It’s a neurological problem means brain processes language differently.
Dysgraphia:
It affects the ability to write . Dysgraphia is a disease in which children face problems which choosing the correct word to use. It can also affect adults.
Role of AI tools : AI have special tools that can detect dysgraphia and dyslexia . This includes analyzing writing speed, pen movements and even spacing between letters.
This advancement is helping children and also it’s early detection for dyslexia and dysgraphia so that they seek support before these learning differences effect children negatively.
According to research these AI tools could revolutionize how educators and clinicians screen for dyslexia and dysgraphia in children.
By analysing hand writing samples from k5 students the system can detect spelling errors and also dyslexia, difficulty while writing and dysgraphia. This new invention is also less time consuming unlike other method’s which are more time consuming .
