Location: 🇺🇸 United States
NVIDIA, a global leader in computer graphics, AI, and accelerated computing, is seeking a Manager for Systems Software Engineering - Agentic Applications to lead innovation in enterprise AI products. This role focuses on developing agentic AI applications, multimodal ingestion pipelines, retrieval systems, and data curation platforms. The ideal candidate combines expertise in large-scale data applications, generative AI, and machine learning with proven leadership in applied research and product development.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, design, and implement agentic AI applications for enterprise deployment.
- Lead a multi-functional applied research and development team focused on agentic AI solutions.
- Define evaluation criteria, reproducible workflows, and datasets to ensure high-quality, robust, and scalable applications.
- Collaborate with internal NVIDIA teams and external partners to align product development with business needs.
- Provide technical mentorship and leadership across projects, teams, and internal groups.
- Drive innovation by converting proof-of-concept AI applications into production-ready solutions.
- Ensure applications meet the highest standards of performance, accuracy, and composability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related quantitative field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of software engineering or system architecture experience, particularly with Python, C++, or Go.
- 3+ years managing multi-functional teams, fostering professional growth, and providing technical mentorship.
- Proven experience leading teams developing data pipelines, machine learning applications, and generative AI solutions.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working with research and production teams.
- Self-starter with the ability to learn and apply emerging technologies rapidly.
- Solid experience architecting enterprise applications handling large-scale data or complex model ensembles.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate coursework in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in creating end-to-end AI applications with measurable business impact.
- Experience contributing to open-source projects or leading proof-of-concept generative AI applications.
- Passion for leading multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
