We are seeking a passionate and analytically minded Strategic Finance Analyst II to join our Revenue Finance team and support the growth of Affirm’s Marketplace business. This role combines financial expertise, analytics, and strategic influence to guide company decisions and drive measurable impact. You will collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams to shape financial strategies and optimize marketplace performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a financial expert supporting end-to-end operations for the Marketplace business.
- Analyze key top-line performance metrics and report results to company leaders and external partners.
- Build scalable automated dashboards and financial analytics for cross-departmental and executive use.
- Develop detailed financial models for Marketplace GMV and Ad Revenue.
- Partner with Strategic Partnerships, Product, Revenue Analytics, Merchant Pricing, and Credit teams on strategic projects to drive profitable growth.
- Provide actionable insights and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or Master’s in a quantitative field preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, data science, analytics, or a fast-paced analytical role.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to create complex financial models.
- Experience with SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Sigma, Looker, or similar platforms is a plus.
