Valmont, a Fortune 1000 company, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join its Global Utilities Division. This role supports day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring smooth office functions and contributing to Valmont’s mission of advancing infrastructure, agriculture, and sustainable technologies worldwide.

What You’ll Do:

  • Welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Answer, screen, and forward phone calls efficiently.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, events, and catering.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and notifications.
  • Maintain office supply inventory and track essential materials.
  • Perform standard administrative tasks: scanning, photocopying, faxing, filing, and typing correspondence.
  • Operate computer systems to support office operations.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional coursework or certifications in office administration preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail with excellent time management.
  • Ability to follow instructions and perform basic math functions.
  • Previous administrative or receptionist experience (1+ year preferred).
  • Leadership potential and a proactive, professional attitude.
