Overview:
The Client Development Director is a strategic, results-driven professional responsible for expanding client relationships within the ServiceNow ecosystem. You will actively identify, cultivate, and secure new business opportunities while building strong, long-term partnerships with clients. By becoming a trusted advisor, you will drive revenue growth, elevate the Pioneer ServiceNow brand, and contribute to delivering exceptional solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ServiceNow Solutions-Oriented Business Development

  • Research and identify high-potential clients and market segments for ServiceNow solutions.
  • Lead discovery efforts with clients to understand their IT and business needs.
  • Collaborate with internal delivery and practice teams to design and present customized solutions.
  • Develop compelling proposals, pitches, and presentations showcasing Pioneer's value and ROI.
  • Support deal-building activities to achieve revenue and margin targets.

2. Strategic Relationship Building

  • Build and maintain relationships with ServiceNow stakeholders, clients, and partners.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client business landscapes and proactively identifying opportunities.
  • Represent Pioneer at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Maintain knowledge of ServiceNow product suite, workflows, SKUs, and value propositions.

3. Lead Generation & Sales Growth

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Develop and execute relationship management strategies including cold outreach, referrals, and networking.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns that attract potential clients.
  • Leverage existing relationships and industry networks to uncover new opportunities.

4. Collaboration and Leadership

  • Work cross-functionally with delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Contribute to developing best practices in client development and sales methodologies.
  • Collaborate with leadership to strategically pursue opportunities and strengthen client engagement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in ServiceNow business development, solution sales, or client relationship management.
  • Proven track record of closing complex, solutions-based deals and generating/managing a personal sales pipeline.
  • Experience with consultative or challenger selling methodologies.
  • Proficient in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Preferred locations: Minneapolis or Denver metro area.

Experience:

  • Experience working with professional services organizations, consulting firms, or directly with ServiceNow clients.
  • Strong background in managing client relationships and driving business growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and deliver tailored technology solutions.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in a relevant field such as Business, IT, or Management.
