Strategic Initiatives Project Lead CVS Health

We are seeking a Strategic Initiatives Project Lead to join our Analytics Strategy and Operations team. This role drives key data and analytics projects, streamlines processes, and ensures the efficient execution of initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning initiatives to align business operations with the Analytics & Behavior Change mission.
• Develop project roadmaps, operating models, KPI tracking, budgets, resource allocation, and implementation plans.
• Identify and prioritize product and service improvements, creating actionable plans for execution.
• Manage and coordinate enterprise-wide projects, ensuring alignment across teams, departments, and functions.
• Oversee development, implementation, and enhancement of organizational policies, processes, and procedures.
• Maintain project timelines, status reports, and communicate milestones and risks to stakeholders.
• Streamline and automate reporting processes using modern analytics tools.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• 5+ years of project management experience
• 3+ years in strategy and planning, budgeting, resource planning, and process improvement
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Proven ability to take initiative and manage complex projects independently
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• Experience with Smartsheet, Quickbase, Thoughtspot, or PowerBI
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Track record of enterprise-wide project implementation
• Enthusiasm for learning new tools and process automation methods

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Analytics, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Advanced certifications in Project Management (PMP, CAPM) or Analytics (preferred)

Experience:

• Hands-on experience in managing multiple high-impact projects simultaneously
• Experience working in fast-paced, data-driven environments
• Familiarity with strategic planning frameworks, budgeting, and resource allocation
