As a Field Service Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring clients get the best experience with our shipping and mailing technology. This is a client-facing, hands-on role where you’ll install, service, and repair equipment, from inserters to smart lockers, while providing excellent customer service. You’ll also have the chance to earn additional income through service and parts sales.

What You’ll Do

  • Install, upgrade, and service Pitney Bowes shipping and mailing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair both hardware and software solutions, reducing client callbacks.
  • Train clients on equipment usage during installation.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment while performing repairs and installations using hand tools and small power tools.
  • Cover a multi-zip code territory, spending significant time on the road.
  • Work Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with occasional overtime as needed.

What We Look For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or associate degree in electronics, mechanical repair, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in field service, equipment repair, or technical support, preferably with mechanical or electrical systems.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift 55+ lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with Windows environments and basic PC/networking skills (preferred).
  • Comfortable with significant windshield time and multi-zip code travel (up to 80%).
  • Strong customer service skills and a client-focused mindset.
