Role Summary

Flow cytometry continues to play a critical role in modern drug development and personalized medicine. As a Clinical Flow Cytometry QC Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and ensuring the quality of clinical flow cytometry data across various therapeutic areas.

This position focuses on data analysis and quality control no wet lab or benchwork is required. You’ll work with both conventional and spectral flow cytometry platforms, often involving large, complex multicolor panels.

You will develop and manage a data quality pipeline, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and help support the training of AI-based QC tools for flow cytometry analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze raw flow cytometry data using gating strategies to identify irregularities and trends.
  • Provide insights and training data for AI tools designed to enhance data QC.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to improve data quality and establish performance KPIs.
  • Develop monitoring strategies to ensure consistent quality across instruments, assays, and vendors.
  • Manage cloud-based data workflows, ensuring smooth data uploads and vendor transfers.
  • Support documentation processes and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for raw data specifications.
  • Participate in assay development reviews and provide QC feedback to vendor labs.
  • Lead weekly data quality review meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate scheduling, meeting notes, and document management for internal QC meetings.

Education & Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related life science field.
  • Advanced coursework or certifications in Flow Cytometry or Clinical Laboratory Sciences preferred.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience performing and analyzing flow cytometry assays.
  • Strong background in Immunology or Oncology settings preferred.
  • Proficient in at least one major flow cytometry analysis software (FlowJo, FCS Express, etc.).
  • Proven ability to interpret and QC complex multicolor cytometry data.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted data QC tools and cloud data workflows is an advantage.
