Job Overview:
Brightpoint Community College is seeking a skilled Web Design Adjunct Instructor to teach both online and on-campus courses. You will provide students with hands-on training in Web Design I & II and Interactive Design I & II, helping them build practical skills for the digital world. This role enriches the student learning experience and supports the college’s mission to inspire student success and community vitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver web design courses effectively in traditional or online formats.
  • Utilize instructional technologies to enhance learning.
  • Support students’ practical skills development in web and interactive design.
  • Collaborate with the division and faculty to maintain curriculum standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including assisting in emergency or special initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in web design.
  • Preferred: Prior postsecondary teaching experience and strong interpersonal skills.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in web design tools and technologies.
  • Strong communication and instructional abilities.
  • Ability to manage course planning and student engagement effectively.

Work Hours & Load:

  • Part-time role with variable schedule.
  • Teaching limited to 8 credit hours in summer, 12 in fall and spring semesters.

Monthly Salary: Dependent on experience and education (typically $3,000 – $4,500/month).
