Role Overview
We are looking for a talented jQuery Developer to join our remote team. This is a contract position where you will build interactive user interfaces, optimize front-end performance, and ensure seamless integration with RESTful APIs. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about UI/UX, responsive design, and delivering high-quality code.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain interactive UI components using jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3
• Use DOM traversal and manipulation to enhance user experience
• Develop or extend jQuery plugins for performance and interactivity
• Implement event-driven programming for responsive interfaces
• Integrate RESTful APIs using AJAX
• Optimize front-end performance and ensure responsiveness
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging
• Maintain documentation for reusable components and workflows

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on front-end development experience
• Strong expertise in jQuery
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
• Experience with asynchronous workflows and API integration
• Familiarity with browser dev tools and performance profiling
• Version control (Git) experience
• Exposure to modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Contract Details

• Full-time (8 hours/day) with at least 4 hours overlap with PST
• Duration: 1.5 months (start within 1 week)
• Remote position, candidates from India, Brazil, Pakistan, Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, Ghana, Bangladesh, Turkey, Mexico
