Role Overview

Catch Co. is seeking an experienced Social Media & Content Manager to own the day-to-day management of the company’s social media strategy and execution. This role focuses on driving audience growth, engagement, and brand visibility by creating compelling content and collaborating with our creator partners.

A deep love and understanding of fishing is essential to succeed in this role.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with Catch Co.’s goals, brand voice, and growth objectives.
  • Build and manage a content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and other platforms.
  • Write, edit, and publish engaging fishing content, ensuring alignment with campaigns and product launches.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams on creative briefs, product launches, and campaign activations.
  • Manage community engagement: respond to comments, messages, and customer interactions.
  • Lead influencer and creator partnerships, including onboarding, campaign coordination, and ROI measurement.
  • Track performance metrics, analyze data, and optimize content strategy based on insights.
  • Stay current on emerging trends, platform updates, and best practices to improve social media impact.
  • Support paid social campaigns and user-generated content programs.

  • Experience: 3–5 years managing social media for consumer brands or agencies with proven results.
  • Storytelling: Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills; adaptable across platforms and audiences.
  • Data-Driven: Strong ability to define KPIs, analyze metrics, and optimize campaigns.
  • Creative Edge: Passion for content creation; comfortable producing content and appearing on camera when needed.
  • Industry Knowledge: Must know and love fishing to effectively engage the target audience.
