Position Overview:

Join our growing Medical Economics team and use your analytics skills to make a real impact on patient care and healthcare costs. As a Medical Economics Analyst, you will provide vital cost-based analysis and consultative support to help improve market initiatives, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive strategic decisions across the organization.

What You’ll Do:

• Analyze medical cost drivers, utilization trends, and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Create insightful data visualizations to turn complex data into actionable insights
• Collaborate with clinical and network leaders to support contracting and cost management strategies
• Prepare reports and presentations for monthly reviews and ongoing projects
• Manage multiple projects with clear documentation and tracking from start to finish
• Use tools like Excel, Power BI, and data warehouse query platforms daily

Who You Are:

• Experience: At least 6 months in managed care, healthcare finance, or healthcare analytics
• Skills: Basic problem-solving, decision-making, and the ability to follow multi-step assignments
• Tech-savvy: Comfortable learning and using web-based data mining and analytics tools
• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (fields such as Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines)
• Work style: Detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive with strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some background in healthcare finance, insurance, or managed care analytics
• Familiarity with healthcare cost drivers and utilization metrics
• Experience or interest in data storytelling and visualization techniques
