Role Overview

We’re looking for a Freelance Mechanical Engineer (Quality Assurance – AI Trainer) to help refine and shape how next-generation AI models understand mechanical engineering concepts.

As part of our QA and training team, you’ll review and enhance content generated by AI, evaluate other experts’ work, and ensure the highest level of technical and linguistic precision.

This is a remote, flexible freelance opportunity ideal for experienced engineers interested in contributing to the future of AI while working around their professional or academic schedule.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Refinement: Develop and improve engineering-related content for AI training. Ensure technical accuracy, clarity, and relevance.
• Expert Evaluation: Review qualification tests from other engineers and assess their technical competency.
• Chat Moderation: Support other experts in Discord chats, providing clarifications and guidance on project rules and engineering concepts.
• Quality Auditing: Audit and review work completed by other freelancers to ensure adherence to project standards and consistency.
• Feedback & Improvement: Offer constructive feedback, correct technical details, and refine content to improve AI model understanding.

Education & Experience

• Education: Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering (preferred specialization: Robotics, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, or Materials Science).
• Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical design, simulation, manufacturing, or quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis, modeling, or automation tasks.
• Prior exposure to Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, or AI Content Reviewing is a strong plus.
• Previous experience in teaching, lecturing, or technical training within engineering is highly desirable.
