Role Overview

As a Cloud Solution Engineer Team Lead, you’ll lead software development projects for our CodeAssist service a critical platform processing over 50 million medical records monthly. You’ll guide your team through all phases of software creation, from planning to deployment and ongoing support, ensuring integration within our broader technology ecosystem.

You’ll collaborate closely with product owners, clinical analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to solve complex challenges, maintain high standards, and drive innovation in healthcare technology. This role is perfect for a technical leader passionate about cloud solutions, software architecture, and healthcare impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development and architectural design of software components supporting the CodeAssist service.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Oversee project timelines, ensuring timely delivery within budget and communicating progress effectively.
• Maintain and improve software quality, adhering to best practices and company standards.
• Mentor and support your team, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
• Integrate solutions seamlessly with other systems to ensure smooth data flow and operational efficiency

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, including leadership roles.
• Proven track record in cloud environments (preferably Linux-based).
• Strong expertise with Perl or Python scripting.
• Experience with Git for version control.
• Knowledge of JavaScript/DOM programming is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• 5+ years working in cloud environments and managing cloud-based applications.
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing complex projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Work Location & Travel

• This is a remote role, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States.
• Occasional domestic travel (up to 10%) may be required.
