Our client is a boutique digital marketing agency specializing in paid media across platforms like Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn. They create targeted ad strategies, manage tracking, develop compelling content, optimize eCommerce feeds, and deliver insightful data-driven performance reports.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a talented Front-End WordPress Developer to bring UI/UX designs to life. You’ll build responsive, fast, and secure WordPress websites, working closely with designers and content teams to create seamless user experiences. Your role will focus on WordPress theme development, customization, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize WordPress themes and templates based on design mockups (Figma, XD, Sketch).
• Convert PSD, Figma, or HTML/CSS prototypes into fully functional WordPress pages.
• Ensure websites are responsive, accessible, and compatible across browsers and devices.
• Optimize front-end performance for speed, SEO, and best practices.
• Implement and customize WordPress plugins while maintaining security and code quality.
• Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and stakeholders for cohesive project delivery.
• Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues across various platforms.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging WordPress technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of professional WordPress development experience.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Expertise in WordPress theme development and customization.
• Familiarity with popular page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg).
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Solid understanding of SEO best practices for front-end development.
• Basic knowledge of PHP and WordPress template hierarchy.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Strong English communication skills for internal collaboration and occasional client interactions.

Education

Experience

• Proven experience developing and customizing WordPress websites from design mockups.
• Hands-on experience optimizing sites for performance and SEO.
• Collaborative work experience in agile or team-based environments.
• Prior exposure to working with remote, multicultural teams is a plus.
