Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cyber Package Analyst to support the review and enhancement of security documentation, including system security plans. As part of a collaborative team led by a technical expert, you will help ensure that security packages meet federal standards and agency requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and augment security documentation and system security plans.
- Collaborate with technical leads to identify gaps and improve security posture.
- Apply structured analysis and design methodologies to translate business needs into system requirements.
- Evaluate cost factors and assess risks related to cybersecurity documentation.
- Support compliance with federal security policies and frameworks.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education:
- achelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline preferred.
- Equivalent experience of 8+ years may substitute for degree requirements.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of professional IT experience in system analysis, design, and integration.
- Proven ability to work with Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software and federal IT systems.
- Strong background in structured analysis and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience evaluating cost, risk, and security factors in complex IT environments.
- Preferred:
- Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or federal health systems.
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR) implementation and security practices.
Eligibility
- Must be authorized to work in the United States full-time.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance for this role.
