nternship Overview

Join the Wealth Advisor Group as a Summer Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting financial advisors and corporate teams. This 10-week paid internship will immerse you in a team-based environment where you’ll learn how financial advice is delivered to clients, prepare to pass the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, and contribute to key business initiatives.

Internship Dates: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hrs/week (Hybrid: 2–3 days in the Tempe office)

What You’ll Do

  • Shadow financial advisors and operations teams to learn best practices
  • Assist in client communications, meeting scheduling, and presentation preparation
  • Support projects and outreach campaigns for the Wealth Advisor Group
  • Prepare for and work toward passing the SIE exam
  • Research and report on financial market trends and regulations
  • Attend training sessions focused on entry-level financial advisory skills
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute process improvement ideas
  • Provide administrative and operational support to advisors and support staff

Education & Experience

Education:

  • Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate program
  • Expected graduation: December 2026 or May 2027
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA required

Experience (Preferred):

  • Previous internship, campus involvement, or coursework in finance, economics, business administration, or related fields
  • Strong interest in financial planning, investments, and client relations

Skills:

  • Excellent communication (written & verbal)
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (CRM) is a plus
  • Goal-oriented and eager to learn in a professional environment
