Avangrid Power, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to lead engineering, procurement, and construction activities for renewable energy projects across the U.S. You’ll manage large-scale energy infrastructure projects from planning to completion, working closely with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver safe, on-time, and on-budget results.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role for a strategic project leader who wants to drive meaningful change in the renewable energy and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering, procurement, and construction activities for new renewable energy projects or modifications to existing facilities.
• Collaborate with engineers, site managers, and subcontractors to ensure milestones are met safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Prepare and present project updates, including schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Oversee risk management and identify mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with company project management standards and safety protocols.
• Coordinate technical due diligence and permitting processes.
• Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic planning.
• Travel up to 50% to project sites and partner locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, construction, or engineering.
• Proven background in utility transmission, distribution, or generation projects preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar project tools.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety laws, environmental regulations, contracts, and permit compliance.
• Experience with Front End Loading (FEL/FEED) processes.
• Renewable energy industry experience strongly preferred.
• OSHA or PMP certification (or equivalent) a plus.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, SAP, or other project scheduling tools.
• Risk management and cost control expertise.
• Experience mentoring or leading technical teams

Education & Experience

• Required: Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Construction, or related) + 5 years relevant experience.
• Preferred: Master’s degree or PMP Certification.
• Previous experience with large-scale construction or energy projects.
• Strong technical and financial project management skills.
